Articulating Beauty

A collection of sights and sounds that capture small moments of beauty.

I'm a woman living in the Witch City. I love vintage clothing, strong coffee, heart-to-heart conversations, frolicking with friends, and the warm sun on my face.

I am in love.
I give love.
You are loved.

Ivory Miniature of the Empress Josephine by Ferdinand Quaglia, 1814
This portrait must have been done quite close to Josephine’s death.  She passed on May 29, 1814 at the age of 51.  I love that she looks fashionable as ever, dignified and proud.
